Hiking

Call it hiking or call it tramping, the opportunities are glorious in New Zealand with its mix of alpine bush and fiords to provide the breath-taking scenery.  There are safe tramps for healthy people and some more mountainous which require some experience and a higher level of fitness.

Here are some very popular tracks beginning and ending at Queenstown.  All with return coach transfers from Queenstown included in the price with two or three nights at huts on the tramp. These hikes are not available during the winter months.

The prices include briefings, transport to and from the tracks, map, hut accommodation, souvenir track book.  Packs, sleeping bags, cooking sets, tramping boots, walking poles, rain-wear and over-trousers can be rented.
